| This Lumix DMC-TZ5 takes incredibly clear pictures, both as a still camera and a video camera. The optical zoom is 10X, and it has an additional digital zoom of 40X, which allows for a very smooth zoom when filming video. I have taken very clear pictures up to 16X. And, the 8G SD cards that I am including are very fast - perfect for filming Hi Def Video. When you add all of this to the fact that it is very small (4"X 2.3"X 1.4") it makes it the perfect all-around travel camera.
